An exciting Royal Cornwall Show has come and gone. The show enjoyed an unusual spell of good weather which swelled the numbers for a record Saturday.
Princess Anne visited on the first day which is always a highlight for the locals. The weather then returned to its usual unsettled nature. Some good days and some bad.
The annual Midsummer Music at Prideaux Place featured a Take That tribute band who were fantastic and began their set just as the rain set in. It didn’t matter though as everyone was having too good a time to care. A great evening was had by all and it was enjoyed by many visitors to Padstow.
As Wimbledon got underway the following Monday the weather settled down and a great fortnight was enjoyed by us all and a great win by Andy Murray was the icing on the cake!
Since the beginning of July the weather has been amazing with everyone enjoying the beautiful beaches, swimming and sunbathing and the air is thick with the smells of barbecues. Great times and long may they last. A truly great time to visit Padstow and enjoy everything we have to offer.
